Happy Saturday!

Well it is the 7th of December and we have been up for about 20 minutes now.  In three days my baby turns 17.  Wow I am getting old.  Last night we were getting ready to go out to dinner, and she actually told me I looked cute!  Yeah, she can finally understand fashion is not all about the latest looks, but the combination of them to make you happy.

We started taking out the Christmas decorations, OMG we have lost tons of things over the years.  Sadly we are missing some of the beautiful ornaments I bought when she was younger in pinks and pastels, because she just liked them.  But we move forward and buy new things.

Have a great day!Image

Sad about sunflowers…Day 174

Living Martha's Life

Sunflowers are my favorite flowers. They are so happy and cheerful. Today I could have used some sunflowers. I am sore from the accident, my car is a wreck (literally), my house is a mess, I haven’t done laundry in so long I am wearing sequined underwear to work today and I am exhausted. All in all I am in need of a little sunshine.

Today Martha’s calendar said to “Plant Sunflowers” and do “Circuit Training”.

Well we did walk for an hour today so that has to count as part of circuit training. And I danced so yay circuit complete.

AND I did it all while sore and achy. At least Martha is motivating.

But alas my sunflowers. None for me. I can’t drive the car to get seeds and figured I should save my favors from my friends for more important things then sunflower seeds. Just a bummer…

June 25, 1968 – The Day it All Began

45 years ago I was born.

Somehow that makes me feel old.  But age is only a number, you only feel as old as you act.  Well for me then I am nowhere near 45.  Even thought I know I am a grown up, sometimes I just want to be young again.  Why you ask?  Well I hate all the responsibilities of being an adult.  Why do adults have to take life so serious?  I wish life was easier.

This is the start of the blogs so we will see what tomorrow brings.
